Many of the pieces available on Matter Edit are pre-owned and may carry visible signs of age and previous use. While we thoughtfully select each item, we cannot guarantee their long-term durability. Items are sold in their current condition. We aim to represent all items as accurately as possible through our photography and can provide condition reports upon request for selected pieces.
We include a condition grading system in each item listing to help guide expectations:
New / Immaculate – Excellent overall condition. Free from wear, scratches, or marks.
Good Condition – Previously used, with minimal signs of use.
Vintage / Antique Condition – Shows character through patina, wear, or age-related markings.
Product Representation
We make every effort to present our items faithfully, though some variation may occur. Colour, texture, and finish are displayed as accurately as possible, but may appear differently depending on individual screen settings and resolution. All measurements are approximate and intended as a guide.
Returns Policy
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding delivery fees, as long as items are returned in the same condition as sold. During this period, some items may also be eligible for part-exchange. Return shipping and handling are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that purchases made during flash sale events are considered final. We recommend arranging a personal viewing beforehand where possible. Alternatively, we can provide a detailed condition report upon request.
Shipping Information
Orders are typically dispatched on the next available Tuesday or Friday following purchase. For deliveries within mainland UK, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and delivery complexity

Please be aware that international buyers may be subject to import duties or taxes, which are the buyer’s responsibility. These charges vary depending on the destination country and are not within our control. While shipping providers may offer estimates, only the relevant customs authority can determine the actual amount due.
If your order arrives damaged, please take photographs of both the item and packaging, and email us within 48 hours. We will arrange a return and provide a refund once the item has been collected and received.
Pricing, Payment & Delivery
All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP). We accept payments via PayPal, Apple Pay, and major credit and debit cards including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, and others. Bank transfers are also accepted. Please email info@matteredit.com to request an invoice. Once payment is received, your item will be reserved and shipped accordingly.
